Transformation & Integration

An experience can open a door. Integration is how we learn to walk through it.

Reflective, educational, and facilitative work for the weeks and months after something significant happens.

The offering

Private 1:1 Integration

An individual space for reflection, preparation, and the slow work of integration.

Who this is for

People finding their footing after a profound experience, creatives working through a block, and people navigating a shift in identity or direction. A dedicated focus is work with compulsive habits and addiction: dopamine reset protocols, earned-dopamine habit building, and understanding triggers. A willingness to reflect and make room for practice between conversations matters.

Where this work has limits

This is educational and reflective work. It is unsuitable for acute clinical crisis, urgent psychiatric needs, or people seeking quick-fix therapy. Substance provision, supervision, medical advice, and psychological treatment fall outside my role.

Investment

Private engagements are shaped around your context, pace, and support needs. Session frequency, duration, and the full fee are agreed together before work begins.

Most of what determines whether an experience changes a life happens afterwards: in ordinary rooms, on ordinary mornings, and in the small decisions nobody photographs.

My work is shaped by the Transilience framework and direct experience working with clients. Transilience is the capacity to move through liminal space by making wise choices that lead to inspired actions, aligned with a clear vision of who you are becoming. Together we work toward clear seeing: your own innate wisdom, with less self-deception in the way.

This includes preparation and integration around psychedelic experiences. The work is educational, reflective, and integrative. Providing, sourcing, administering, or supervising substances falls outside my role, as does medical or psychological treatment.

The map

The arc of a transition

Every meaningful change moves from the known, through a liminal stretch, toward a new way of being. Knowing where you are on the map makes the disorienting parts easier to trust.

I

The Departure

  1. 01

    The old status quo

Life as it has been arranged. Familiar, and quietly no longer fitting.

  2. 02

    A disorienting dilemma

Something happens that cannot be explained away, and the questions begin.

  3. 03

    The call

A pull toward the unknown. The wish for change becomes harder to ignore.

  4. 04

    Preparation

Intention, support, practice, and an honest look at readiness.

II

The Liminal Crossing

  1. 05

    Crossing the threshold

The experience itself: a ceremony, a quest, a loss, a decision.

  2. 06

    Disruption

Disorientation and some chaos. The old story stops holding.

  3. 07

    Deep questioning

Staying with what is unresolved long enough for it to speak.

  4. 08

    Insight

A clearer seeing of who you are and what matters.

III

The Return

  1. 09

    Integration & practice

Small, repeated choices that give the insight a place to live.

  2. 10

    A new identity

An altered state becomes an altered trait. The change holds in ordinary life.

How we work

Ritual

We open and close with intention. Ritual is a language for meaning-making, a way to acknowledge a transition and mark who you are becoming.

The terrain of the body

Interoceptive awareness: learning to notice breath, sensation, and the nervous system, so the body becomes a source of information and steadiness.

Emotional expertise

Building a richer vocabulary for what you feel. Precise naming gives you more choice in how you respond.

Story & identity

We look at the stories you carry about who you are, where they came from, and which ones you are ready to retell.

Visioning

Writing practices that clarify who you are becoming, so integration has a direction and the insight turns into inspired action.

The resilience reservoir

Practices for rest, regulation, and support. Think of it as stamina for the journey, tended before and after the threshold.

Addiction & Dopamine

A steadier relationship with reward.

Much of my work with clients is untangling compulsive loops: food, screens, alcohol, porn, work, approval. I know this terrain from the inside. My own path runs through overeating in a family where food was the operating language, through sugar, alcohol, porn, and the quieter habits of lying and people pleasing. That history is part of why I can sit steadily with someone in the middle of theirs.

In practice this looks like three movements, taken at your pace and adapted to your real life.

  1. 01

    The dopamine reset

A structured protocol that creates a pause from selected instant-reward habits for a set period, so you can notice urges, patterns, and the role these habits play. We design it together around your real obligations, and I stay close through the uncomfortable stretch at the start.

  2. 02

    Earned dopamine

We rebuild your daily habits around reward you work for. Effort becomes a reliable source of feeling good again, one small repeated choice at a time.

    • Finishing something hard
  3. 03

    Understanding triggers

We map the moments, places, feelings, and people that start the loop. Then we remove, redesign, or prepare for each one, so you fully understand what the habit was doing for you before you let it go.

This is educational, habit-focused coaching. It sits alongside, and never replaces, medical care, therapy, or addiction treatment. When clinical support is called for, I will say so plainly.

Training

Transilience

Seven-month program · Laura Dawn

Completed the seven-month Transilience training with Laura Dawn. The program is grounded in preparation and integration, coaching practice, ethics, creativity, and nervous-system-aware approaches to transformational change.

I work as a facilitator and coach. This educational work sits outside therapy and medical care; it offers no medical advice or guaranteed outcome. When clinical care is called for, I will say so.
